Our in-house security is provided by DGA, and we have 24 hour CCTV + surveillance by Nuvico with audio and video recording. Also have armed federal guards.

Brian Cabrera started buying jewelry from wholesale stores since 2000; in 2005 he wanted to establish a place where people can feel comfortable borrowing money. He opened up a store in Queens by the name of 5 Borough Pawn with the goal of having pawn shops in every borough. Brian has been able to start his goal by having established pawn shops in Queens and Brooklyn. He is the founder of 5 Borough Pawn, shareholder and managing member. He is currently chief of the communications department for Collateral Loan Brokers Association of New York. Holding certificates in metal testing, diamond appraising and watch authentication. Also volunteers as coach for Levittown football and baseball.

Over 17 years he has worked as an operations manager in the express shipping industry. He comes to our family at 5 Borough Pawn with experience in customer service and managing personnel. He is a family man who is an ongoing volunteer in his community and loves to play sports. He has a certificate in metal testing, appraising and watch authentication.
